Is Vega at the Swimming Hole at the moment? -> 50/50 (78) -> Yes
Does he show me where? -> +20 (43+20) -> Yes

The Boy shows me where I can find Vega. He guides me to…
Mythic Detail Check -> Favors PC + Meaningfully, Quaint ->
He guides me to a little garden hidden inside of the Workshop building. The garden is a nice change to the tight rooms, filled to the brim with teenagers.
In the middle of the garden stands a tree. Under the tree sits a latino teenager, maybe 16 or 17 years old, hitting the keyboard of his laptop. This must be Vega.

Does he see me approaching? 50/50 (21) -> No ->
Completely immersed in whatever he is doing on his PC, he does not even seem to realize that I’m there. I go close to him before I start talking.

AD: Vega Santino?
Une -> neutral NPC is sociable, inquisitve NPC speaks of request regarding the PC’s experience ->
VS: Oh, yes. I was expecting someone would come, what is your name?
AD: Agent Derek.
VS: Agent Derek. Nice to meet you. May I start with a question Agent Derek?
AD: Shoot!
VS: How was it to see my mother lying in pieces on the floor of our home?
AD: Shocking of course. Why, did you feel differently.
Mythic Detail Check -> Disfavors PC + Perfectly, Odd ->
VS: Isn’t it perfectly odd, that after so many years investigating cruel crimes and even other things, you still get shocked by the sight of one life taken.
AD: You do not know what I have seen!
Mythic Detail Check -> Disfavors PC + Calmly Scary
VS: Oh, there you are mistaken. I know everything that you have seen. All the misery, the blood, even the things you are not dare to accept that you have seen. All are here, at my fingertips.
Vega calmly scrolls through something on his laptop screen. The idea that he can literally can read me like an (e)book scares me.
AD: You are bluffing!
Does Vega gets provoked to proof what he claims? 50/50 (9) -> No
VS: May be.
He looks up to me and smiles.
AD: I heard you are Admin of the Dream Syndicate Forums.
VS: Correct!
AD: As such you should have access to all databases of the forum public as well as private.
VS: Also correct!
AD: You should also have IP’s of all users which posted to the Dream Syndicate Forums, right?
VS: You kind of building a yes ladder here Agent Derek. Yes I have.
AD: I need the IP of the user who posted the “Hastur Visions”.
How does he react? -> Detail Check -> Focus NPC + Dangerously, Heavy -> Which NPC 1. Agent Neo, 2. His Mum, 3. Himself, 4-6 Someone New -> 2 His Mum
VS: Oh I guess you will not need the IP of that User anymore. You already met that user!
AD: You mean the Boy who led me here.
VS: No Agent Derek, I meant the woman you found halve crystallized lying in pieces at my parents house.
AD: Your Mum?
VS: You know how parents are. They start snooping around in the stuff of their children. And suddenly she discovers what I’m doing in the Dream Syndicate forums. Unfortunately her involvement got dangerously heavy. She should have stayed out of those things she does not understand.
AD: And that is the reason you killed her?
His Answer -> 50/50 (83) -> Yes
VS: Yes, exactly.
AD: How did you killed her?
Detail Check -> Happiness + Starting, Victory
VS: It was not me exactly. It was what came from the other side. It needed something to feed on for a start. And my mum was “accidentally” there to feed on.
Relieve goes through my body, to know that Vega is not the exact cause of those horrifying injuries. On the other side, the thing which caused those might still be out there.
AD: So where is your friend from the other side now?
Detail Check-> Sadness + Dangerously, Scary
VS: Agent Derek, (1d3 he/she/it -> it) it is right here!

Suddenly I feel like I ran into a trap. Adrenaline is pumping through my veins as I hear something. Something from above. Something is moving inside of this tree!
