SL Table: Occupation = Fry Cook
Agent John Doe is shadowing a man named Hassan Madalitso. It’s been a long, mostly boring day of following him around. Hassan works as a fry cook during the day, but the conspiracy has hinted he’s involved in something far more sinister than deep frying chicken.
Finally, something interesting happens.
Weird Horror GMA: Location = Disaster Site
-> Hassan is heading to a disaster site.
Background of the Disaster Site:
Some weeks ago, the brakes of a train failed here, causing a horrific crash.
At the site, Hassan meets another man.
SL Table: Occupation = Teacher
SL Teacher: Age = Old
-> The man appears to be an old schoolteacher.
Are the men exchanging anything besides information?
Even: Yes
Weird Horror GMA: Belongings = Contract hit
-> To Agent Doe’s shock, Hassan kisses the old man directly on the lips. The old man stares back, his wide-open eyes filled with dread, but he doesn’t resist. After the kiss, the two men quickly part ways.
Introduction
Plotline:
An actor has a grudge against an agent of the Enemy but doesn’t realize the true nature of their rival. They want the PCs to help unveil the culprit’s evil, offering clues and leads to follow.
The Encounter
Agent Doe decides to boldly approach the old man before he can disappear. Once Hassan is out of sight, Doe walks straight up to him.
Agent Doe:
“He seemed way more into that kiss than you!”
Old Man:
“What? Who!”
Agent Doe:
“Relax, old man. I’m not here to hurt you. I just want some information about your lover boy who just left!”
Old Man:
“I can assure you, he’s not my lover boy. Quite the opposite!”
Agent Doe can feel the disdain in the man’s voice when speaking about Hassan.
Agent Doe:
“In that case, maybe we can help each other.”
Old Man:
“If you want to help me, find out what that lunatic did to me—and how to stop it!”
Agent Doe:
“Looked like a kiss to me,” he chuckles.
Old Man:
“I wish I could find it as funny as you do. That was a KISS OF DEATH. I have something he—or whoever he’s working for—wants. If I don’t give it to them, I probably won’t see the next sunrise. He told me he’d be back in 10 hours. If I haven’t handed over what they want, I’ll wish I were dead.”
Agent Doe:
“What are they looking for?”
Does the man reveal what they’re after?

Old Man:
“They want my magnum opus! I wrote a unique and brilliant text on the secrets of the human mind. But once I finished it, I deemed it too dangerous for anyone to read. So, I hid it in a place no one can find without my consent.”
Agent Doe struggles to hide his skepticism at the self-important tone of the old man’s words. However, Hassan Madalitso is clearly dangerous, and following this lead might uncover something critical.
Agent Doe:
“Alright, I’ll do my best to find out what he did to you—and how to stop it.”
Old Man:
“Thank you. My name is Grant Scarus, professor of parapsychology at Trenloe University.”
Agent Doe:
“Okay, Grant. Anything you can tell me that’ll help with your case?”
Old Man:
“I know where Madalitso and his people are operating from!”
Agent Doe’s interest spikes.
Agent Doe:
“I’m listening.”
